Welcome to my home page! I have been guiding for 19 years and take great pleasure in showing visitors around London, the city in which I have spent most of my life and where my family has lived for two centuries.

I offer a variety of tours – to groups in their own coach, using public transport or on foot. For individuals I run a series of London walks and occasional excursions further afield. Both are described in the following pages.

I am a Blue Badge Guide, the highest professional guiding qualification in the UK, and a Member of both the Institute of Tourist Guiding and the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides. For more information on these organisations and qualifications please click on the Links tab to the left.

I am qualified to guide in German and Italian – languages I learned while living and working in those countries – as well as English. My working life has always had an international dimension and I particularly enjoy introducing foreign visitors to the delights of London and the cities, towns and countryside of England. In my youth I graduated from Oxford University in History and this gives me a firm basis for interpreting English culture.
